I watched this film for the first time in 2022 for a class my senior year of high school. Unfortunately for me and my teacher, I fell asleep during most films played in that class, but this one kept my attention. I was enthralled by the characters quirks and dynamics and genuinely became interested in the pursuit the family endeavors for Olive. And I cried. I cried so much during this movie, you would think I was genuinely going through this journey with this family and to me, it felt that way too. I felt like I was part of it. I showed my boyfriend this movie about a month ago and he felt the same. The acting and the filming tie together to truly make you feel like this is happening to you and around you. Even the hilariously awkward bits.

Little Miss Sunshine is a gem of a film that continues to resonate with audiences long after its release.
